Lunch 2.0
When Jeremiah at Hitachi Data Systems asked if I wanted to come to Lunch 2.0 I thought “oh, that’ll be fun, probably 10 geeks will show up.”
Well, I was wrong. More than 200 people showed up. Lots of photos here.
Great fun, I barely got to eat anything cause I was answering so many questions. Now back to work San Jose State University where I’m having a conversation about media and journalism.

[...] Wow, that was fun, we just concluded the event and I’m sitting downstairs with Robert Scoble, Thomas Hawk, Julio Garcia, and Kristopher Tate. It’s estimated we had over 200 folks, honestly, I was too busy to look around and count! I’m pretty excited, as some folks said they want to talk about Data Storage Strategies as their web companies need to scale. Our CTO Blogger Hu Yoshida attended the event (along with a lot of other folks) and I’m sure will be collecting his thoughts on the event. [...]

I was thinking of a Boxed Lunch 2.0, where everyone would get sandwiches with all the crusts cut off and the corners properly rounded. Wondering what we’d drink? The Kool-Aid…

That sounds…well…um…what on earth were you answering questions about? Podcasting? And you didn’t have time for the tuna?

Robert, I am surprised you didn’t cut no.5. You must of finally got some shut-eye. This is the kind of comment that turns non-believers into non-believers. Delete. Delete. Delete. This is not what social and espcially business blogging is about. Let this blogger find the right home at trailerparkblog.com . But, it’s your blog. Perhaps you should turn on the “awaiting moderation” tool. You could lose visitors who don’t know any better.

There are never any chicks at these geek-fests. Why do we want to look at more pictures of Scoble?

Hey Robert,
Thanks for coming into our JMC 163 class tonight. That was really interesting and insightful. If you get a chance, check out the pic I got of you for the blog. I’ll also be putting my vids I took on Google, YouTube and Blip.tv by tomorrow. (I was the guy you told about Blip) Thanks again!
