Yes, Weird Al is talented and I enjoy his vidoes. The only problem is that I don’t know any of the songs that he’s parodying anymore….

It used to be that I would actually know the song Weird Al was spoofing, but I don’t have a clue in this case. I imagine the pool of songs Al can draw from these days is a little limited with the prevalence of rap.

The song Weird Al is parodying is “Ridin’ Dirty” by Chamillionaire. Apparently, the term “riding dirty” refers to riding in your car with a “felony’s worth” of drugs.
To me, the perfect type of song for “The Weird One” to pardoy, as Al’s message is typically so upbeat and funny, whereas the original is stereotypically negative at best. (Not that the original isn’t catchy, because it is… as long as you’re okay with rap.)

I love Weird Al. Let me jump on the “I posted this ages ago” bandwagon, though; I had it on the 21st.
My favorite Weird Al anecdote is when he did Smells Like Nirvana and Cobain said that was when they KNEW they had made it!
